09AM MDT 09/09/07  A band of thunderstorms is moving up the Sea of Cortez (magenta arrow) These thunderstorms are all that remains Caribbean Felix. These thunderstorms may spill west, onto Baja Sur this evening. A High (blue arrow) has strengthened and will bring light to moderate north winds to Baja California. There is also an area of thunderstorms south of Acapulco (green arrow) we will have to keep an eye on as a the eastern most of three tropical waves (orange arrows) reaches the area in 24-36hrs. The NHC is not forecasting any development for the next 24hrs. There is a Trof (yellow arrow) moving west that terminates in the ITCZ with an area of thunderstorms, also not expected to develop.
