Henrietta / Cabo San Lucas Baja Mexico Weather

Hurricane Henrietta nears Cabo San Lucas 8:11 am 9/04/07-

Having had steady rains all night and intermittent heavy gusts Henrietta is definitely on its way here. Nothing too bad as of yet but beware the streets will be flooding some in Los Cabos today. Do not drive unless absolutely necessary.

Gusts up to 35kts approx and heavy rain at sunrise with more to come. Have had intermittent loss of power but all seems okay for now. Sea State very rough with waves increasing. Please be careful near coast and when driving if necessary. Many areas of Cabo are already beginning to flood. This is nothing new and does not mean the storm is at all catastrophic at this time. Cabo has always been susceptible to flooding even in moderate rains.

I will post more as Henrietta comes closer as long as I have power and net connection. Take care and stay dry!
