Here's an interestng bit of Hurricane trivia. Hurricane Felix made landfall today as did Hurricane Henriette. That is the first time in recorded history (since 1949) that Atlantic and Pacific hurricanes have made landfall on the same day. Also in the Atlantic basin Felix makes the record book again as the second Cat 5 Hurricane to make landfall in a single season. Hurricane Dean made landfall as a Cat 5 two weeks ago.
