Yes, we are having a spot of weather and it seems to be getting worse. At CostaBaja we are protected from the winds currently coming from the east. It is raining hard and blown by the wind the rain is reaching speeds that it hurts. Much darker clouds are certainly coming from the south. I have been unable to reach Cabo - it appears the eye of Hurricane Henriette is coming ashore very near San Jose del Cabo, as the eye, according to the radar is nearly over the airport. The eye provides a brief respite to make adjustments in your exterior storm protection and take a look at the damage the storm may have wrought. Remember, the maximum period of calm in the eye will be 1 hour or less, much less if you are not passing directly though the center. Don't get caught outside as you very quickly find yourself in the full furry of the storm. The eyewall area is also the most likely area to find yourself a flying piece of debris! Mucho Ojo! Tomas
