Record US Budget Deficit Likely to Affect Real Estate and Travel in Baja California

The Bush administration today announced a proposed budget that will set all records for deficit spending. This in turn has pushed the dollar further down in world markets and to it's lowest point against the peso years. This will make things even tougher for the tourist driven economies of Baja California and Baja California Sur.
