Baja California Weather Outlook

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

09AM MDT 09/10/07  A High (blue arrow) about 400 miles west of the Cedros Islands will bring down our humidity, provide cooler evenings and perhaps slightly lower than seasonal highs throughout Baja today. A Trof (magenta arrow) is moving west around the High but should have little effect on our weather. We have two tropical waves on our map (orange arrows) and only some scattered thunderstorms (green arrow) near the Mainland coast. A Low (yellow arrow) is stirring up some thunderstorms a little further west, this system may develop further when the next tropical wave catches up with it. However, by that point it should be too far west to concern us. The NHC doesn't currently predict any tropical cyclone formation in the next 72hrs.
