Baja Fires affecting travel and business

Baja fires are affefcting travel and business. I personally have freight being held up at the US Mexico Border and know of several other businesses that are experiencing importation problems as the border crossing area has been evacuated in some areas. The Paseos del Las Americas area, in Otay Mesa where a lot of the freight forwarding and customs brokers are, has been basically closed or slowed down for the last few days.

As you can see here on a Google fire map Northern Baja is being affected by the fires as well as San Diego and to the north. Be advised to check roads and boarder crossings before heading south for the San Diego, Tijuana, Otay Mesa and Tecate borders.
