otay mesa border crossing
bc12 We would like to use the Otay Mesa Border Crossing northbound from Ensenada. We have only found it once. The last couple of trips we have had the Cultural Experience of ending up driving through downtown Tijuana. We head north on the Toll Road and took the La Gloria and then we seem to loose it and get lost!! Can anyone help us..Directions or Landmarks for direction. Anything will be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Gosh it's been a few years sice I took that route, the airport is your marker. The Otay Mesa crossing is just a few mies east of the airport. I believe you exit the toll road just before it becomes the toll road east.
Unfortuntely, so many others have discovered that route that it is only slightly faster. However, it is less hectic in the scrum to get to the crossing booths. Send us a report when you get through!
