Revolution Day in Mexico - Beautiful weather in Baja California Sur

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

11AM MST 11/20/07 Today is the actual Dia de la Revolucion which was celebrated yesterday.

A Low (red arrow) over SoCal is buffering the usual north winds that occur when a High (yellow arrow) is near the 4 Corners area of the US. A High (blue arrow) is over central Mexico and is keeping most of NW Mexico cool and dry. Temps in Baja California will be in the upper 70's while Baja Sur will be in the mid 80's. Fog will burn off by midday in Central Baja while an early marine layer in Baja Sur has already evaporated. A High (magenta arrow) will be pushed into WA/OR and will move toward the 4 Corners area and could bring us some north winds by late in the week. Forecasts for the next 72hrs call for light winds in the Sea from the west to SW and seas in the crossing to be under 3'.
