Baja California Weather Buffered from Santa Ana Winds by Low over California

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

10AM MST 11/10/07 It remains quiet fall weather over the Baja peninsula today. Baja Sur will have high thin clouds today as some Pineapple Express (yellow arrow) drifts over in the next 24-36hrs. No precipitation is forecast. Winds in The Sea are forecast to come from the NE tomorrow, then shift to the WNW then back to the NE on Monday. Forecasts for the winds to remain under 10kts. Seas in The Crossing are forecast to be 2-3' through the period. Up north, we are being insulated from the Highs (blue arrow) moving through the 4 Corners region, which usually brings us northers, by a weak Low (green arrow) over SoCal. Forecasts call for this pattern to remain through the 72hrs forecast period..
