Baja 1000 May Cause Road Delays on Baja California Hwy 1

Just made 2 trips down in 2 weeks. first was with my son and 2 friends who did most of the race course pre run.  There are a lot of people out there doing the pre run and unfortunately some are not slowing down when going through some of the small towns and Ejidos which can only hurt when they try to use the same course in the future. Most are vey respectful but it only takes a few to mess it up. 

Also any one coming down should avoid driving on the race days as there are sections where the race is on the main highway and the may incur some long delays. 

All in all the road was in very good shape.  Only place road work with traffic control was between Mulege and Loreto. Thanks for all the great articles and keep up the good work.
