Day of the Dead Part 1 - Weather for Baja California

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

09AM MDT 11/01/07 Another late summer day for Baja Sur today as temps will again broach the 90° mark and skies will be clear and sunny. In Baja California temps will be in the mid 70's and a marine layer will extend inland from the Pacific near San Quentin for much of the day. A Trof (yellow arrow) extends south from San Francisco to the Sea and is responsible for our light NW winds. Winds in the Sea are forecast to be light, under 15kts and seas less than 3'.  A cluster of Highs (green arrow) is moving toward the 4 Corners region but are not forecast to develop into a norther for The Sea. Another stronger High (magenta arrow) will move SE from the Canadian border and will bring cooler temps to Baja California late in the weekend and a chance of increased northers.
