Baja California Weather - A Beautiful day in Baja Sur

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

08AM MST 11/08/07 A crystal clear fall day in Baja California Sur, where temps are expected to be in the high 80's today. Baja California will also enjoy a nice day, although marine layer will keep things cloudy along the Pacific coast well into the day. A Low (yellow arrow) is stalled over SoCal as a continuous string of weak Highs (blue arrow) parade through the 4 Corners region of the US. This will provide light winds (5-15kts) from the NW to NE through the Sea. Wave heights are expected to run 3' from the central Sea south and build to 4-5' in the crossing later tomorrow. A gale (magenta arrow) is blowing in the Tehuantepec. The tropical cyclone threat to Baja passed just about a month ago and by the looks of the ITCZ there may be no further activity in the Eastern Pacific this Hurricane Season which officially ends November 30th.
