Baja California Weather Outlook - Tropical Storm Ivo

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

09AM MDT 09/19/07  While Tropical Storm Ivo churns towards us, Baja will enjoy bright sunny skies and seasonal temperatures. Tropical Storm Ivo (red arrow) is about 530 miles south of Cabo San Lucas moving NW. Forecasts call for Ivo to make a 100° turn and move in the direction of Baja Sur late in the weekend. SW portions of Baja may see rain late Monday or Tuesday if the forecast hold true. TS Ivo has a lot of distance to cover and turns to make before coming a threat to Baja Sur. There is one new tropical wave entering our map (orange arrow) and some thunderstorms in the Tehuantepec that could be a factor in 24-48 hours.
