Baja Weather Outlook - Tropical Depression 12E

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

03PM MDT 09/18/07  Baja will enjoy another late summer evening of clear skies, warm temps and perhaps a little drier. Down south we now have Tropical Depression 12E (red arrow) The system is expected to become a tropical storm as early as later tonight as it heads NW. We will have to keep an eye on this one as it is expected to button-hook and head back toward Baja on over the weekend as a Depression. This is early in this storms genesis, so it's hard to forecast too far in advance. There are three tropical waves (orange arrows) on our map the western most moving out of our basin, the middle stimulating TD12E and the eastern most just entering our map.
