Clear Skies for Baja California while Tropical Depression 14E Spins-up

   Weather  in Baja California

Surface Chart / Satellite IR

09AM MDT 09/29/07 Tropical Depression 14E (magenta arrow) has formed well to our south. The system is expected to become Tropical Storm Juliette later today as the storm wanders harmlessly off into the Pacific. We have two tropical waves on our map (orange arrows) One is too far west to concern us and the second is just entering the basin. The eastern wave is broad and we will be keeping an eye on it as it moves west and interacts with mainland coastal thunderstorms (yellow arrow) mid next week.. Baja California will begin the day with some clouds associated with a Low moving east in the SW US. Baja Sur should enjoy clear skies and slightly cooler temps today.
